What are semi rimless glasses?

Semi-rimless glasses (also known as the semi-rim, half-frame, half-rimmed, or half-rim glasses) have no frame around half of the lenses, which are exposed, and half of the lenses surrounded by the frame, which can be either the top half of the frame or the bottom half of the frame.
